What we collect
Babela collects only the information you choose to provide — your name, email address, career history, education, certifications, and any documents you upload. We use this data exclusively to power your career profile and job matching features.
How we use it
Your career data is used to generate your career health score, match you to relevant job listings, and surface insights through Babela AI. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Who can see your profile
Your profile visibility is entirely in your control. Recruiters only see the information you have marked as public in your Settings. Your documents, private notes, and career gaps are never shared without your permission.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated data for product analytics. Any third-party services we use (Supabase, Vercel) are bound by their own privacy policies and process your data only as needed to operate the platform.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. For any other data requests or questions, reach out to us directly.

Using Babela
By creating an account on Babela, you agree to use the platform for legitimate career management purposes. Babela is designed to help professionals organise and advance their careers — please use it that way.
Your career data
You own your career data. Babela stores it to power your profile, matching, and AI features. We do not claim ownership of anything you provide — your work history, documents, and profile content remain yours.
Accuracy
Please represent your career history accurately. Babela's timeline validation is designed to surface inconsistencies — but it's ultimately your responsibility to ensure the information in your profile is truthful, especially when shared with recruiters.
Prohibited use
Don't use Babela to spam recruiters, impersonate others, scrape data, or attempt to access other users' private information. Accounts found doing so will be terminated.
Service availability
Babela is provided as-is during our early access period. We work hard to keep it running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
